Ten Best Picture Nominees: 1967

The Oscar nominees was Bonnie and Clyde, Doctor Doolittle, The Graduate, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and In the Heat of the Night.

The Sixth position would surely have gone to In Cold Blood, the movie got a director nod and mentions from GG, DGA and NBR.

The four rest is hard to decide. "Thoroughly Modern Mille" would certainly get the musical spot and by doing this making "Camelot" out of the race. "Thoroughly..." earned 7 nods and was a box office hit.

Two Comedies "Two For the Road" and "The Taming of the Shrew" is out of competition because of lack of precursor awards and/or enthusiasm. Plus they're comedies.

The Three other would've been The Dirty Dozen (4 nods), Cool Hand Luke (4 nods) and Far from the Madding Crowd (1 nod, but a NBR win and GG nod).
